Julie O. Childers DMD, PA
Dr. Julie Childers has maintained a private practice in Laurens County for more than twenty years. She is a 1979 graduate of Clemson University and a 1983 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine. Upon receiving her DMD degree, she joined a private practice in Charleston, South Carolina as an associate dentist and also worked as a part-time clinical instructor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at MUSC. Two years later, Dr. Childers joined a private practice in Clemson, South Carolina and remained there for six years, until the opening of her own practice in 1991. While her eight years of association in other practices and other cities proved to be invaluable sources of education and experience, her twenty plus years in Laurens County have offered her greatest satisfaction in dentistry. She maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Piedmont District Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Periodontics of Greenville Study Club. Dr. Childers has two adult children and enjoys running, tennis, gardening, and traveling. The technological and innovative advances in dentistry continue to fascinate her, and she proudly offers these in her practice in order to meet the diverse needs of her patients.
